Jade is a beautiful and very opinionated 12 year old(ish) female calico cat who came from a domestic violence situation at her former home.  The owner became homeless.  At the pet rescue she showed her massive determination to control her own environment which made her non-adoptable (biting) and soon was fostered out to a person who was understanding of her attitude. Jade has been there for 4 years now and is doing great even insisting on going for walking tours (not leased) with her caregiver. She has a couple of feline friends in her foster home, but generally does not welcome new feline friends and few people.
