Bubba – December 2012
Bubba is one of our very distinguished citizens at Halfway Home Pet Rescue. Poor Bubba has suffered his entire life with no place to call home, no medical care and all this time suffering with a very painful eye condition. Bubba will be fine once his surgery is done on Wed., Nov. 28 to correct his bottom eye lids and then he will be neutered. From top to bottom, Bubba will feel like a new man, ready for a new world without pain or hardships. Bubba is Leukemia/AIDS tested negative, wormed, Revolution treated, distemper and rabies vaccinations, and will be neutered and corrective eye surgery on Nov. 28th. A few hundred bucks of HHPR medical care can make our darling boy adoptable at only $25.00 to the right family. Bubba is extremely clean, gets along with other animals and his favorite hobby is cuddling and rolling for tummy rubs. Believe me, Bubba is one very unique and special cat.
Note: Bubba received his surgery (the photo shows him just before his stitches were removed. He was adopted into a great home. A HHPR supporter paid for his surgery.
Priscilla – December 2012
Priscilla is a blk/white with patches of tiger stripes. She is about 1 year old and a real sweetheart. She is spayed, Leukemia tested negative, current shots, wormed and Revolution treated (30-day parasite prevention). She has been a wonderful little momma to 5 kittens. Priscilla came to HHPR is very rundown condition and she gave all she had to her babies. She is now very healthy, happy, contented and loving, waiting for that special family to discover her.
Princess – December 2012
Princess is a 9 mos old spayed female Maine Coon mix who just finished nursing 12 kittens. Her own 5 and 7 orphans. She was a wonderful mother. She has all medical completed now and is ready for a really good home. She is clean, healthy, contented and pleasant to all cats, kids and should be fine with dogs.
Taylor – December 2012
Taylor is a 6 or 7 month old spayed female. She is very clean, happy and busy. All of her medical will be completed by Dec. 1, and she can be adopted by Dec. 5. She likes other young cats and all people. She has had a pretty bad life up until now so we are hoping someone will look past that shy little face and see all the love she has to give.
Sir Thomas – December 2012
Sir Thomas is a 3 year old neutered male who either became lost or abandoned in the Limestone area. He is a dsh orange and white. A huge fella and full of love to give out to anyone crossing his path. He like to talk to you to make sure you are noticing him and he has all of his medical done.
Katie – July 2012
Katie, a 10-month old gray/white, short-hair, spayed female cat, is currently being fostered at the Tractor Supply Store in Presque Isle for adoption. She has all of her medical work completed. She is very clean in her environment, happy, playful and good with other cats after her initial Hiss & Spit introduction. Katie would like to be an inside/outside cat if adopted to a family from a quiet street for traffic or in the country. She liked to sleep with her former foster family and is pushed off the bed would jump on the bureau to knock everything off and make her own place. A cutie, a love for any size family. Her adoption fee is $40.00. (Note: Katie and Bonnie Sue were adopted together!)
Bonnie Sue – July 2012
Bonnie Sue is a female domestic short hair calico cat. Some of kittens were recently adopted, but Billie Jean is still waiting for a home. Bonnie is a very sweet and loving cat.
Roselind – December 2012
Miss Roselind is a domestic longhair torti about 2 years old. She was found as a stray. She has been spayed and cleared of all parasites, tested negative for feline leukemia/aids. Roselind is up to date on her vaccinations. This young lady enjoys having the freedom of the shelter and will shy away from any conflict unless someone gets up in her face.
The Donald – November 2012
THE DONALD is a mighty handsome and charismatic 2 year old neutered male currently residing at Halfway Home Pet Rescue. THE Donald (named for Donald Trump) is great confidence in his own abilities and he loves to play to media attention and to any good-looking feline female. Donald actually allows neighboring feline, Priscilla, to reach across and into his food dish to taste his food to see if it compares with hers. THE Donald is leukemia/AIDS tested, neutered, distemper and rabies vaccinations, wormed and Revolution treated (a 30-day parasite prevention). His adoption fee is only $25.00 Donald appears to get along well with other cats and his super ego would certainly make him feel very superior to any dog. THE Donald would be great for any family situation with children or other pets.
