Theo came to HHPR as a 4-week old baby who had just been learning to run when a 300 lb. man accidently stepped on him. RESCUE. We immediately rushed Theo to the vet for X-ray fearing the worst that his hind end/spine was broken. Dr. Brown brought him out to us with a big smile on her face. No broken bones but lots of bruising and pain. HHPR volunteers patiently worked at giving Theo loving playtime as physical therapy. Then Norma asked Marcia to foster Theo and, of course, Marcia ended up adopting Theo.
