Located at 40 Broadway Ave in Caribou, Maine, Halfway Home Pet Rescue is dedicated to rescuing cats from various situations, providing them with essential veterinary care, and nurturing them in a loving environment until they find their forever homes. Our adoption process is thoughtful and thorough, ensuring that each cat is matched with a compatible family. By adopting from Halfway Home Pet Rescue, individuals not only gain a new feline companion but also support a compassionate organization committed to animal welfare and adoption advocacy.

To adopt a cat from Halfway Home Pet Rescue, the process begins with checking our website or Facebook page to view available cats. Prospective adopters should then fill out an online adoption application, which helps us understand your lifestyle and preferences to ensure a suitable match. Once the application is approved, a meet-and-greet is arranged by appointment where you can interact with the cat(s) of interest. This meeting allows both parties to get to know each other and assess compatibility. If everything goes well, the adoption is finalized with an adoption fee, which covers vaccinations, spaying/neutering, and other medical expenses. Halfway Home Pet Rescue provides support and guidance throughout the adoption process, ensuring a smooth transition for both the cat and their new family. Adopting from Halfway Home Pet Rescue not only brings a new companion into a loving home but also supports their ongoing efforts to rescue and rehabilitate more cats in need.
