This sweet little girl came to HHPR in a bit of a ragged state, timid, matted fur and uncertain of what was going to happen. She was brought in as a stray in winter showing signs of having been out in the elements for a while – Frostbite, matted fur, parasites, and hungry. All she wanted was to be loved.
Despite her physical condition, her loving personality proved she had once belonged to someone. During her medical exam, we learned she is LeLV positive, which means she could develop cancer at some point in her life. FeLV is no longer a certain death sentence it once was, and with good care she can live a long time, but she needed an understanding family with no other cats.
One of our volunteers fell in love with this little girl and she now the reigning Queen. Your support has saved her life, THANK YOU!
