Dinty Moore Stu – November 2011

Dinty Moore Stu, is about 2 years old, orange tiger, scared at this point. He was found with his head stuck in a can of Dinty Moore Beef Stew and had probably been that way for a while. The rescue worker saw several people kick the can and limp body of Dinty before she got to him. Off to the vet to get the can removed, moved to HHPR, back to the vet for testing & neutering, and although he is grateful for his food, shelter and cleaning. Dinty really is sure about life in general. Give him some time and love and he will be a fine pet. We believe he is a good mouser as he is not under weight. He is clean, scared, healthy, and his adoption fee is $25.00. He is neutered, leukemia/AIDS tested, wormed, shots, and Revolution treated (30-day parasite prevention).

Blaze – October 2011

Blaze is a 2 year old Maine Coon look. We recently worked with 3 local hoarder situations and Blaze is one of about 35 that we have been working with. Some were quite ill and like Blaze needed recovery time. He is now ready to go. He is on the shy side, but will warm up as he gets to know you. He lets the females boss him around and only gives a little hiss at times to tell you he does have rights. He is neutered, leukemia/AIDS tested, wormed, shots and Revolution treated (30-day parasite prevention).

Arthur – March 2011

Arthur, our 2-year-old neutered male tiger formerly of The Tractor Supply Store in PI, is up for adoption into a private home. Although, Arthur was a great, clean, sociable cat at the store & everyone loved Arthur, he started escaping out the door to visit clients & we were afraid he would be run over. So Arthur is back. If you are one of the 3 dozen people who called wanting Arthur, please know he is now available for a private home. He is Leukemia/AIDS tested negative, distemper & rabies shot, & cleared of all parasites. Arthur is good with kids, cats & dogs. He is Mr. Gentle with elderly.

Frosty – June 2011

Frosty (formerly Donald) is a neutered male about 2 years old. Came in badly frostbitten. Has lost the tip of his right ear. His feet blisters from the cold have healed, but he is still very shy and scared. Frosty has been through some very rough times and hides most of the time. Frosty will need a quiet and loving family to help him get over his obvious abuse issues. He will not bite or even hiss, just crouches down and waits to see if you will pat or hit him. Very deserving cat, likes to be cuddled. He is neutered, leukemia tested, all shots and cleared of parasites. He will be a totally devoted pet to anyone who loves him and gives him time to recover from his abuse and frostbite. Adoption Fee: $50.00

Stella – Sept. 2011

Stella is a 4-month-old beauty who will be spayed in another month. She is Leukemiak/AIDS negative, 2 distemper shots. She will get her rabies shot at spay time. She is wormed 3x, Revolution treated (30-day parasite prevention). She loves all other cats, a little shy with people yet, not sure about dogs. Very clean, healthy & happy. She steals everyone's heart immediately, but that little shyness holds her back. She will hold back from eating with the group but prefers to be fed to the side in case someone would hiss at her. An all around great kitten, needs a loving happy family (no very young children). Adoption fee is $25.00
